I’m Cheryl and as a mum of 5, I know how stressful finding the time to go gift shopping can be. I’ve always been one to gift something that’s personal, whether it’s a family joke or something to add to their decor.
This meant like so many others I’ve struggled to find the gift I really wanted and would be fed up and ‘make do’ with something I wasn’t really happy with.
In 2020, my gift struggle came to a head when I really couldn’t find the perfect gift for my mum’s birthday. I created a framed family tree of her grandchildren with a bespoke designed tree. She loved it, it was unique and personal, so my business started from there.
My children are Kyle, Josh, Katie, Lily-anne and Izaak….. not your usual run of the mill names. This has it’s own struggles when the children have wanted something in shops with their names on. They are my biggest fans, often asking for personalised items, they know they won’t get in the shop.
Chezcraftree is based in Staffordshire. Although it is an online business, we can occasionally be found at local craft markets.
